One woman's memory. Everyone's Chance.

In West Virginia, lung cancer remains one of the most urgent health challenges facing our community. The state consistently ranks among the highest in the nation for lung cancer incidence and mortality, yet fewer than 20% eligible individuals ever receive a routine lung cancer screening. The Veronica Baker Low Dose CT Scan Fund was established through the United Health Foundation to help uninsured and underinsured patients access mammograms and life-saving low-dose CT lung screenings.

Our goal is simple but powerful: to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent members of our community from receiving these critical screenings.
